Production and Evaluation Deadlines - Week 6 and Term 4
Well done everyone on completing excellent work so far. You will get feedback on the mocks next term. This week will be about making suggested adjustments to your productions and starting on the third unit for the coursework - the evaluation. The schedule for the week is as follows:
Monday 8th February - Feedback on productions from Mrs Fernandez and Ms Johnson. Lesson time to make changes. Homework - check planning blogs - ready for marking over half term. Ensure visual evidence is in place and all tasks are complete.
Wednesday 10th February - Mrs Fernandez: Evaluation set up. Sheets given out. Questions 1 and 2 explained. Homework - spend one hour drafting responses in Word.
Wednesday 10th February - Ms Johnson (absent) - Work on film opening or Question 1 and 2.
Thursday 11 February - Ms Johnson - set up for Question 7 of evaluation. Lesson time to plan this response in groups. Homework - spend one hour on this.
Friday 12 February - Ms Johnson - set up Question 3 and 6 of evaluation - lesson time to work on this. Ensure final production is uploaded to the blog.
Homework for half term: Draft responses to evaluation questions.
Term 4: Two weeks until Evaluation deadline
Monday 22 February - Mrs Fernandez - take in drafts. Set up Question 4/5 Evaluation. Lesson time to construct questionnaires. Homework - complete questionnaires and print out ready for screening on Wednesday lunchtime - INVITE FRIENDS
Tuesday 23 February - Ms Johnson: Lesson time - I hour on evaluations. Homework - 1 hour preparation for screening or other questions.
Wednesday 24 February - Mrs Fernandez: Lesson time - preparation for screening or other evaluation question. Homework - 1 hour on evaluation
LUNCHTIME: SCREENING IN DRAMA STUDIO. Come promptly with questionnaires ready to hand out. 12.45 start sharp.

Task 21: Group - Titles
In the next week up until the roughcut on Friday 22 January you should try to ensure as much footage on the timeline as possible. You should also include titles and the title of the film even if you haven't completed the animation.
If you have ambitious plans for the film title and/or the title roles then you must start this process on Monday.

- Example of typeface (s) - connotations - mood, genre
- List of roles in order considering conventional hierarcy
- Positioning of text on the frame
- What is the sequence of titles (where are they going within the two minutes?) Overlaying visuals (if so which ones?) or cross cut to title screen?
- Colour? title screen if using and font?
- Where is the film title going? What is the typeface? Is there animation? How does that fit with the footage in the film?
- What is your style model (real film) for inclusion of title roles and film title?
